The Arduino Uno R3 is the most widely used Arduino board, perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike. Built around the ATmega328P microcontroller with an ATmega16U2 for USB communication, it provides faster transfer rates and the ability to appear as a keyboard, mouse, or other HID device.
The R3 revision adds dedicated SDA/SCL pins and an IOREF pin for shield voltage compatibility. Works with all existing Arduino shields while supporting future designs.
