The MLX90640 Thermal Camera Breakout brings affordable thermal imaging to your Raspberry Pi and Arduino projects. With a 32×24 pixel sensor array and 110° wide-angle field of view, it creates heat maps showing temperature variations across a scene—perfect for detecting people, monitoring equipment, or visualising heat distribution.
Measuring temperatures from -40°C to 300°C with approximately 1°C accuracy, the sensor connects via I2C and runs at up to 64 frames per second for smooth thermal video.
