The Official Raspberry Pi 45W USB-C Power Supply delivers high-power output for demanding Raspberry Pi 5 setups with power-hungry peripherals like external SSDs and hard drives. With USB Power Delivery (PD) support, it automatically negotiates the optimal power profile.
When used with Raspberry Pi 5, this power supply enables the automatic boost of USB current limits from the default 600mA up to 1.6A across the four USB Type-A ports. Also compatible with third-party USB PD devices including smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
