The ESP-01 is a compact WiFi module based on the popular ESP8266 chip, providing an easy way to add wireless connectivity to Arduino and other microcontroller projects. This upgraded version features 1MB of flash storage—double the original—allowing for more complex firmware and OTA updates.
Control it with AT commands over serial, or flash custom firmware like NodeMCU or Arduino to turn it into a standalone WiFi-enabled microcontroller.
